Shouldn't every Sunday be Resurrection Day?

Easter has just passed. It means many things to many different people. What is the meaning of Easter to you?

Easter to me until more recently was kinda that holiday where you went to find easter eggs, and enjoyed the spring. Now-a-days I seem to find myself really thinking about who God is and what Jesus did for me during this season. Every time I blow it, and totally give into my desires I realize more and more that the my core is sinful. The more I fight against my temptations and fail the more I realize that this atoning sacrifice really was indispensable. So Easter has become probably the most poignant holiday for me.

A man who bore all sin for the past, present and future all at once so that we could be free from sin and death. No greater love could there have been.

Easter to me signifies that there is a tommorrow. I know it sounds like a very clique thing to say, but nothing signified that more than my day on Monday right after Easter. I came to work with a glow, beaming from the Easter service, with confidence that nothing could bring me down. But it didn't turn out that way. Everything that could have went wrong DID go wrong and even worse. The whole day I was walking on a tight rope (egg shells, basically). But the only thing saving me was knowing that there is a tommorrow. I had to remind myself that we go through all these trials and we have to remember there's a hope, a tommorro w and a future that is uninscribed with any precursors of the past. So I probably can't get a day as worse than on that Monday, but thank God that it was right after Easter.
